[RC] more truck trailer questions - Rugbytimber

You guys have so much knowledge, so maybe some of you can help me.
I just bought a 84' trai-et GN 2-H with 8' LQ.
Ive never towed a GN before, but on the way home it seemed bouncy at low speeds and fine around 40-55 mph.
It reminds me of towing a single axle camper. With that up-down bounce.
I also drove a class c motor home that had a "moon bounce" feel that went away when you hitched a heavy trailer to it.
So im wondering if the bounce will go away with horses in it?
Maybe I have a bent axle?
Trailer has old leafsprings-nothing fancy.
Truck info= 95' chevy silverado one ton dually. Stock suspension (leafsprings and rubber boots) It rides rough when empty already. hitch is a pop up ball bolted to frame.
Anyone else have a bouncy gooseneck?
