Re: [RC] best saddle for 2-point position? - Lori Bertolucci

Tara, you will love the saddle. My riding partner, Marci Cunningham, has over 12,000 endurance miles, and she just recently swithched to a Specialized. They fit the horse and rider so well.

Lori,
You are the 4th person to suggest the Specialized saddles! I will have to give them a try. Thanks

Tara, try the Specialized. I two-point throughout most of a 50, and feel great afterwards. You can set the leg position in 3 different positions. I do this to give my horse back relief, especially if we have been doing a lot of mountains where there is excessive downhills.

Hi all,
I am saddle searching for my Standardbred gelding. His trot is
ridiculous to try and post to, so I do mainly 2-point the whole time.
What saddle would be best for maintaining the 2-point in for
loooooooooong periods of time? I prefer the western type of saddle
without horn. His trot throws me all over the place and I cannot get him
to "gait" instead of trot.
Thanks!
