Just a quick question????? What is the youngest age a stud colt can
impregnate a filly. I have a 2 yr old filly in the same corral with
her 1/2 brother, age 9 mos. I want to separate them before any
possibility of the colt breeding the filly but I also want to leave them
together through this winter, if possible. I just weaned the colt a month
ago and he has really bonded with his sister, so when I separate them it may be
hard on both of them.
Thanks for any help. I don't want an accidental foal......
