Egypt forgot that it has major faults along the Nile Valley, under the Mediterranean Sea and down the Red Sea as well where the Africa and Asia plates meet. When we had the big earthquake in 1992, it was a huge wake up call, but do you think that they changed the building codes...not that there are any...<G>. People here had forgotten about the earthquake and seismic activity in the area because things had been quiet. After all one of the all-time greats was the eruption of Santorini which wasn't that far off our north coast.

Life is simply unsure, so I'll take the sunshine.
