Angie's right, if any of those in FITs or Marilyn's 3 day riders happen to enter, they would be instant leaders. We're staying below the radar so far. which is just fine by me. Lucy won the first VVRide (the VVClassic) by doing Death Valley. It does help to rack up the miles when you make it out to a bunch of marked trails!! (of course, you also have to buy the gas and have the time off from work etc.:)And, as Angie mentioned, the VVmM ride awards do have marketable value. Should you end up winning and not be able to use the ride award yourself, I'm sure there are others who would happily buy them from you and use the discounted ride entry. There are still a few who have not entered any ride data, I'll be sending out a few messages today to see if anyone needs help. Yesterday, the Scottsdale crew went into the Superstition Wilderness. It was rocky and slow, but such majestic beauty is to be enjoyed whenever the chance presents itself. I think Steph is going to put up some images on the front page of Endurance.Net -- it was quite the beautiful day in the worlds greenest desert!! johnt (p.s. This may affect some of those who attended rides in early march and have not yet entered the VVmM. Let your friends know, just in case they want to enter.)
