RE: [RC] July 19th, 2008. The Day of the 100's - Ranelle Rubin

Paul,

You say, "that little get together in Robie Park that heads down to Auburn."..hah!

See you there, Lord willing...I will trot out of Robie, in the Dark...on up to High Camp, to say hello to Marc..We're gonna Fly Like an Eagle..to the Fair..Fly Like an Eagle, where our crew will be waiting there..They'll have mash, they'll have hay..and they'll say, "Welcome to Auburn, and how was Your day?"...

Another stanza: "Up over Watson's..through the bogs..my toes are burning..I wish I'd worn my clogs...Feed the ponies..all that they want..give them lots of water, then ask them to trot...

All to the song Fly Like an Eagle...

There is still time to get your horses (and yourself) ready for July 19th. There are four 100 mile rides scheduled for that same day. It starts in the east with the Vermont 100, then travels west to Wyoming for the Big Horn 100. Later in the day:-) Riders head out at  Bandit Springs in the Northwest, and also that little get together in Robie Park that heads down to Auburn.

One day... Four 100 mile rides to choose from.  Are we lucky or what?

Have we ever had so many 100 mile rides scheduled the same day?
