[RC] SHAVED HAIR ON HORSES LOIN AREA - Suzy Henderson

MY HORSE HAS AN AREA ON BOTH SIDES OF HER BACK,JUST ABOVE THE FLANK WHERE THE HAIR IS A DIFFERENT COLOR & IT IS NOT AS THICK AS THE REST.  I HAVE AN EQUIPEDIC PAD & WHERE THIS IS HAPPENING WITH THE HAIR IS WHERE THE PAD IS OVER THE LOIN AREA. I USE A TORSION TREELESS SADDLE & I AM A FEATHERWEIGHT.  I HAVE A CANTLE SNUGPAC, BUT IT IS NOT REAL HEAVY.  THIS MARE IS 14.3.  THE PAD DOES NOT SEEM TO BIG FOR THE HORSE.  IF I WENT ANY SMALLER I WOULD NOT HAVE MUCH PASS THE BACK OF THE SADDLE.  THE PACK RIDES SOME ON PAD, & VERY LITTLE ON HORSE.  ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHAT I COULD DO OR WHAT IS CAUSING THIS.  ONE THEORY WAS THE LONG LEG SHORT LEG SYNDROME.    SUZY
