Rump rugs are most certainly "allowed" at FEI events. Where'd you get that?? 


Pardon me for asking, I guess I had an ignorant question, John.  I haven't 
ridden or witnessed any FEI events in January. I was just asking, what I 
thought was an innocent question to try and learn and educate myself. I've 
ridden a number of 50 mile events in this temperature range and quite frankly 
worse and I've found my rump rugs a useful tool.  I have a heavy one and a 
lighter one for MN rides in April, May, June, August, September & October.
