I think we should stop messing with nature. Everyone who thinks man is
smart AND wise enough to manage genetic manipulation should go see I Am Legend
then get back to me. Yes, it is just a movie - so was Star Trek and I SO wanted
one of those flip to open communicators...:)
It took God 6 days to create a handful of critters and two rather idiotic
humans - what makes us think we can "fix" anything He made? And for those who do
not believe in God, well, we could create the next Big Bang...ouch!
What is wrong with judicious breeding, which is actually enough of a
manipulation, given the truck people tend to breed when their brain is in the
bank vault. I personally don't care what Cash does or does not do since I would
breed to a clone ever anyway. If he was gelded once there was probably a reason,
like, there are too many TERRIFIC stallions out there already - same reason we
gelded out stunning and substantial BLACK colt...maybe what makes them special
has less to do with their genes at a point and more to do with environment,
timing, opportunity etc. Just cud to chew for 2008.
