[RC] Saddles with trees similar to the Abetta Arabian - Karen Casemier

With the addition of a new horse for me, my husband has been riding our Morgan mare. Up until now, he's been using my backup saddle - a 15" Abetta Endurance with an Arab tree. The saddle fits both the Morgan and our larger QH very well...but my husband is 6'4" and really needs a 16" seat. I would just get another Abetta, but he'd like something with a little more shape to it that is more comfortable for longer rides. (I had forgotten how shapeless the abetta is until I rode in it recently...it's like sitting on a platform!)

He has a Passier dressage saddle he really likes, but it does not fit the mare. I think we are going to stick to a western style endurance saddle, because it is too difficult to find an English saddle that fits both him and the round Morgan.

Suggestions for an endurance saddle that will fit the horse like the Abetta but have more support for the rider? And not break the bank? He will likely do a few LDs on the mare, but has no interest in doing anything longer.
