Re: [RC] For Heavyweight Riders-kinda OT - Amy

I've been following The Glucose Revolution series lately, Low GI eating.
Really easy to read books and doable lifestyles changes in eating. I feel
much better when I eat this way, much less pain and lots more energy. It
was suggested to me by both my acupuncturist and Uckele when I did hair
mineral analysis with them.

While not close to heavy weight, turning 50 brought
metabolic issues and other stuff combined to increase
my weight to as much as I weighed when I gave birth to
my oldest 30 years ago! Now, I've never, ever, gone
on a diet with a name, and the South Beach Diet
sounded too trendy to even look at. Luckily I
followed my 2 sisters' advice, but called it by the
name of the place we were at the time, so it's the
"Pismo Beach Food Plan."
