I had a tear in my meniscus and had arthroscopic surgery three years ago.  My recovery was just a few days and was riding again in three weeks. I only took pain meds (advil) for a few days. I was 55 at the time. Everyone is diffrent and I have a very high tolerance to pain. I put off having sugery for about two years and wish I would have had it done sooner, the knee catching and hurting was no fun. I just fell off a mounting block and broke my clavical, snaped that thing right in two, it's been three weeks since it happened and lots of drugs. Everyone is telling me three months, glad it's winter and raining, Hope all goes well with your sugery, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
