A friend bought a MFT that does some head tossing and
ignoring the bit when in disagreement with the speed. The rider is planning on
training this out of the horse, however, in the meantime is wondering about
using a running martingale when on group rides. The issues don’t come up
until she is with a group. So, can she use a running martingale with a
non-broken bit? Like a kimberwicke? What about with a short-shanked bit?
