[RC] 2030 trails - Steve Shaw

Marge and Vern Biehl are going to ride the entire Cuesta Sespe Trail in the Los Padres National Forest this Spring. Many of us will be support crews and additional riders. It is probably about 160 miles, which they will GPS for sure, and will mark all water areas, sights, etc.
Marge and Vern are the ride managers for the Ft. Tejon rides and spend 2 1/2 months each year in the Sierras with pack horses clearing trails. (Marge and Vern clear the trails, not the horses.)
Might be a trail for the future of endurance.
Another aspect of individual endurance rides is that it eliminates the stricture the Feds. put on us about competitive riding in Wilderness areas!
For more information about the Cuesta Sespe Trail see http://www.slopost.org/serv01.htm
at the San Luis Obispo Parks Open Space and Trails site, SLOPOST.org under Projects.
