Dirty laundry and disaster get higher ratings.... somehow it seems to appeal to
the voyeur in the viewer. Gawd, no wonder some people fear others finding out
what 'they are really like'....  The only reality shows I watch are 'Project
Runway' and 'Top Chef'.... but those are artificial situations, not 'really'
reality. Or something like that. 

I like Carla's idea a great deal. I wonder if RFD-TV would need to have a
'sample' episode as bait. I see movie hopefuls have scripts and storyboards
first, not sure about television. For sure a solid prospectus and potential
audience demographics. Most shows are taped up to a year in advance of when
they actually hit the air. 

And the ka-ching factor..... lots of volunteers with good video equipment,
writing, and editing skills?  Anybody keeping a detailed training journal,
interviewing ride officials and vets, AERC folks on camera? Gotta start
somewhere. 

Oh yeah, horses..... remember the horses....
