She has some interesting ways of getting expressing herself, to be sure. Pardon me, but this is naive. Of *course* the show is scripted. The basic script is "People make fools of themselves." The worse it gets for the families, the better the Producers like it. If they really are casting for an endurance family, the script already reads "Swapped in wife tries to ride horse at an endurance ride and cameras follow her for miles as she whines and courts disaster." That's why they are insisting on *two* riders in the family: so that the other riding family member can accompany the swapped wife/victim during this climax segment. ...I could also see her walking away if the line in the sand were crossed. You *can't* walk away. You've signed a *contract*. I guess you can tell I hate pseudo-reality shows. The only one I've seen where the people seem to be respected is "Little People, Big World" and that's because engendering respect for little people is the point of the show. The 10 minutes I could stand of the wife swap show made it look like it was one of the most egregious violators of its subject's dignity. With pseudo-reality shows, primitive people got it right, the camera steals your soul.
