Re: [RC] cruppers - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

www.ortho-flex.com Might as well buy the real deal. They've got them in the
catalog for $70. That's about what I paid in 1990. I've seen others that were
thin neoprene over a rigid center not as horse friendly as the OF.

I hired a vendor to replace a tiny bit of biothane on my OF crupper. Wasn't a
big deal. Instead he took the neoprene off the rope center, couldn't get it
back on, totally trashed my very usable crupper, decided to "convert it" to the
kind he sold so he cut off the part that went to the tailpiece then charged me
$30 to send me a leather tail piece and my OF parts converted to hold it. Had
my e-mail address and never bothered to ask if I wanted a leather crupper (I
had 3 in my barn I don't want already!) I was not happy. I ended up spending
$30 to him, then $50 or so by the time I'd paid shipping, etc) for another used
one. Much simpler to just buy from the OF company!
