I read somewhere that the Egyptian Team had the benefit of some coaching from a French trainer over the past few weeks. Sounds like the coaching might have paid off? I'm really pleased that they are abiding by the "to complete is to win" mindset, and it seems that this ride will educate the entire Egyptian endurance fraternity... hopefully in the right way!
But now for the BIG question.... Are your stirrups still in the race? I'm rooting for them (and for my horse, of course).
Loved your reporting, and as Tom says, I hope we see more of it.... I read your blogs constantly, so am very aware of your reporting and observation skills.
