Re: [RC] [RC-Digest] Vol: 03.5483 bays vs greys - Chipnml

When I bought Earen 25 years ago, he was the most BEAUTIFUL dark dappled grey....huge white polka-dots on an almost-black background, with a pure white mane and tail.  Now, at age 30, he's flea-bitten grey, which used to be my least favorite color, but I still think he's the most beautiful horse in the world.  That being said, I love a bright blood bay, like Cheers.  He's a flashy little snot with four white legs.  Dezi is grey.  Just plain grey, with a few flea-bites.  I'm really not a color person, but all my horses (except the sorrel mare I had as a teenager) have been either blood bays or grey.  I think if it came down to color--which is a poor way to pick a horse--I would opt for the bay.
