[RC] need advice on problems with boarding facility owner - k s swigart

Laney Humphrey said:

I'm looking for advice of resolving problems
with the person who owns and runs the boarding
facility where my horse lives.

When I saw the subject of this post, my response (before even reading
it) was "find someplace else to keep your horse."

However, if you don't want to do this, and you have the cooperation of
all the other "boarders" there in your dissatisfaction, what I would
suggest is not trying to educate the non-horse person, non-business
person who is the property owner, but rather to simply renegotiate the
agreement with him so that all he is providing is the land and the
water, and y'all can take care of the rest, and to let this be reflected
in the price.

That way, you can bicker among yourselves instead of complaining to
him...or find a way to have it so each "paddock" does its own thing.
