Louise Riedel was a huge supporter of CTR as practiced in UMECRA.  I loved being on the AERC board with her for 20+ years.  She was a strong-minded woman, and that was part of what made her so great.  I miss her...

Then you in essense have a CTR as practiced in UMECRAville.  Not all CTR has the "horsemanship" judging typical of NATRC.
 
I stand on my original proposal:  AERC should start sanctioning and encouraging CTR under rules similar to UMECRA competitive riding.
