I forgot:
If you choose a belt holster, don't forget the
belt. Normal, ordinary belts are not thickenough to be stiff enough to
keep a holster secure, and thus comfortable.
I personally like web belts like: http://www.lapolicegear.com/5ta1opbe.html these
tactical or operator belts. Note that a lot of companies sell
variations of these. Choose the widest that will fit into the belt loops
on the pants you normally use. Jeans can take 1 3/4", but my breeches need
a 1 1/2" one.
