[RC] Night noise...and feeding - kate

<  Or hey, even giving it to the horse the night before---there's nothing 
nutrition-wise that any horse needs 2-4 hours before a ride that he can't eat and 
metabolize as well, or even a lot better, the night before.

At rides I put out assorted flakes of hay, usually about three, and a full container of water before I go to bed, and don't feed anything else before the ride. Typically the food is almost gone in the am, and her tummy is full of roughage and ready to go! On the rare occasions I do decide to give something in the am, my mare never eats it anyway.
