[RC] Cloning of PIERAZ, Valerie Kanavy's endurance horse - AHA registry - Rusty Toth

I as well find this technology a tad disturbing although incredibly
fascinating. I may be incorrect but I believe I read that AHA will not
allow cloned or off-spring of cloned Arabians to be registered in the
registry. There for this animal is a grade. I am in total agreement with
this if indeed it is true for two main reasons:

1. We as yet have no idea what this will do long term to the breed, life or
quality of life of these animals
2. It is not a new animal genetically and one can not register the same
animal twice, lol.

I am also curious how old the cloned animal is in the photo, his
conformation looks odd to me - just a bit high in hind? I realize the
youngsters grow funny and his age could have something to do with that.

Cheers,

Rusty
