RE: [RC] [RC] Coggins - customary? - Ranelle Rubin

Lisa,

I bought a horse out of state in August. I paid the Coggins and Health Cert to enable me to legally transport the horse. I was also hauling his brother back to CA with him, and required the other buyer do the same.

I got such an incredible deal on this horse, I was happy to pay it.

I'm on the purchasing end this time, of an out-of-state horse. Who customarily pays for the Coggins test? Buyer or Seller?

Thanks!!

Lisa
