[RC] Original Thread, on Potential Closure of Greensfelder Park (St. Louis, Mo. Area) Oops! - Lucie Hess
For all of you near St. Louis, or those that ride in
Greensfelder Equestrian Park in south St. Louis
County, we need your support.
This park was donated for the purpose of being one of
the largest equestrian parks in many states.
A few days ago, a special meeting was announced to
hear the public's opinion on closing the park to
horses.
This would effectively eliminate the major riding area
for thousands of riders.
This park is set up for equestrian camping, and has
many tie stalls as well as a wash area and round pen
near the full hookup campground.
PLEASE consider attending the public meeting this
coming Thursday, October 18th at the Muckerman Shelter
in Greensfelder Park and let your voice be heard. If
you need directions, please feel free to contact me
privately.
To allow a site dedicated to and donated specifically
for horses be taken away is a travesty at best.
