[RC] ride and tie, shoes and such... - Steve Shaw

Any running shoes are ok for endurance riding and ride and tie. Whatever works for running is ok for riding. You just need to be careful about putting just your toes in the stirrups. And you need to practice jumping off and back on during training so that your WHOLE body is ready for it.
George Hall has convinced me that I need to do another 50 mile RAT, that means losing 20 lbs.
But I'll do it.!!
George wants to do another of the Duck's Multi days, I said I would do one of the days, but we need four other stupid people to fill in and do it with George the other four days. Will make a horse available. We will find which one of the Duck's rides to do soon.
Who is a sucker for this?
