[RC] FW: why bother? - Kearby, Kate G Civ 748 CBSG/IS

Support rides at sites we love? We get a lot of support for our ctr's
from some endurance folk, we share trails.... I manage a couple CTRs a
year, I'll do the LD the next weekend so I get to ride my favorite
trails at some speed. Any other time I get to ride them I'm either
working them or guiding pleasure groups.....
We would like to maybe have a horse do both? Our AHA sweeps gelding
might do better at endurance (where respiration doesn't count) but we
would like to maybe have him get an AHA regional in both a 50 and CTR
next year?

Training to be good no matter what is going on around them. Exposure to
lots of strange horses traveling quickly... they get to know their ctr
buddies they see every other week. When an endurance ride is within 100
miles, especially something mid summer or winter when no ctr's are going
on getting multiple vet checks under stress the entry fee is cheap. Can
you get your vet to hang out and evaluate your horse for that little?
