[RC] Uzes - Young Horses Finals - rides2far

I'm trying to imagine 427 young endurance horses produced by an area the
size of a couple of our states. Is there *that* much demand from the
Gulf? What happens to all the leftover "also rans"? We couldn't begin
to absorb that sort of influx of horses into the market I wouldn't think.
This may be a harsh question and you can slap my hand if it's out of
line, but is it more possible to produce large quantities and only keep
the successful ones if you are a country that is known to have a large
demand for horsemeat? I find it very hard to imagine that someone could
do that but where do they all go?
