Is this the same stuff that accumilates in our chimneys?
 
Carbolineum is the stuff I was referring to.
 
I heard on here a few years back that this stuff works great.
 
I always said when the time comes to paint, I'm using it.

Good in to know on the creosote just incase folks around me try to use it.

There used to be a widely used chemical called Creosote that my trainer swears by. It's very difficult to find and you have to be extremely careful when using it...it will burn your skin if it's left on.
