RE: [RC] Ride Awards - Jody Rogers-Buttram

I suppose that I really SHOULD speak out on this.  Seeing how I have been told that I complain the most.

Ok, first off, the horse doesn't give a rat's butt what the award is.  BUT, sometimes the rider does.  That would be me.  I like awards.  I like awards that I can use or show off at rides.
Mainly, because I don't WIN many rides  !!!!

Examples:
Blankets/sheets/coolers
buckets/feed bags/crew bags/chairs/muck tubs
Halters/bridles/other tack items
Sweat shirts/T shirts

Obviously, these would be top ten, or first place or BC or something.
Usefull items like:
Completion awards:
Shirts
lead lines
sponges or just about any small items, like elytes, etc.

Here is the point:  I think that the first place and BC awards should ALWAYS state it on the award somewhere.   I know that there are those of you out there, that win TONS of rides, and you don't care, but there are some of us, that when we win something....we want to have something nice to show for it.   It never fails, that when other people win, they get the nice cooler with the monogramming on the side, but I could win the same darn ride the next year and get crap.  I have seen this happen SEVERAL times.

Ok, I will shut up....just a sore spot.

Jody (Rose is going to kiss Cash Pony for having an abscess and getting her out of going to the next 100)

PS.  And NO...not from my shoeing....from my poor injection of an allergy shot.
