Can eating ice plant cause problems in horses? There is a big area of 
large type ice plant (pickle weed) outside the fence near the water 
trough. My horses have picked at it for years and scatter pieces of 
it around the pen. I have never noticed any differences between my 
horses and the other 30 on the ranch that don't have ice plant near 
them but I just thought I'd better ask you'all because there is a 
wealth of experience and info in this group.
