[RC] Lifetime memberships - Carolyn Burgess

Both the AQHA and the APHA have annual membership fees of $35 and the lifetime is $400 for both organizations.  I have considered lifetime memberships for both of these organizations because the cost is so reasonable.  I don't know if you get access to the databases with a lifetime membership with these organizations.

A lifetime AHA membership is $1000 based on a yearly dues of $25
or 40 x a yearly membership. You don't get access to the AHA
database for this but it gives you a discount. It looks like
there's certainly inflation involved in this calculation because
in 40 years - the dues would change a lot. I think AERC dues
started out in the $5 range 35 years ago.

If AERC used the same criteria as AHA at 40 x $65 - ours would be
$2,600.

Does anyone know of other lifetime memberships and the number of
years the lifetime membership is equivalent to?

Mike
