[RC] AERC Sanctioning in the NE - Alissa NormanDo we appoint sanctioning directors? Vote for them? If sanctioning in the NE is a problem, maybe a new person could step up to the plate and run for that title the next time it comes up. If it's a voted in position, then certainly NE members have a say.It would be unfortunate if, as you say, 2 100 mile rides are run back to back in the NE. It will certainly hurt attendance. It's too bad the ride managers of both rides were not able to chat and perhaps choose dates that would not hurt both rides. It's hard in the NE. There are so few rides that you hurt your attendance, at ANY distance, if you run rides a week apart. Makes for a tough time finding a ride date! Alissa
