[RC] Thoughts on Disney (how they used to film) - Sheila_LarsenI have struggled with the issue of the way they used to film shows such as Wild Kingdom and Disney movies because I LOVE the old Disney movies (horses and wildlife). All I can say is I know many many people that have gone into biology and other related fields because of the inspiration they gained from these films to protect wildlife and spend their life with horses.. So while it may not have been the kindest method, hind sight is 20/20, and I would like to think that the sacrifice of these animals (admittedly not willingly) paid off in dividends by giving people exposure to the beauty of nature and horses. I spend my life trying to protect wild animals, and I adore my horses. So all I can do is take a minute of silence and say "thank you" to those animals that may not have been treated as I would like them to be for what they have given me.
