OK, Subject line was too short to say it right. My new guy 7 is NOT for
sale! :-))  For those who have asked, or care, or are vaguely curious
hoping I've bit off more than I can chew >g< I'll just let ya know that I
couldn't be happier with my new boy.  Age 7 is definitely not a bad age
to start an Arab. He's just as sensible as he can be. We've taken a tiny
baby step forward every day for 63 days and not one step back. I got on
him with a saddle for the first time yesterday and he considered it a
real yawner of an occasion. I think I did good letting someone else feed
him (or in his case let him forage) till he was good and mature. Would be
interested in hearing of others started late.

That said, got a call from Glenda Weeks (Southerners will know her) and
she's clearing the pasture. Man I hate to say this about a person
but...she's given up Arabs and gone gaited. >sniff<  >eg<

She's priced these *extremely endurance bred* horses one step above give
away. I took video & photos of them when I was down at her place (NE
Alabama near Scottsboro) 3 years ago and have good trotting, front, back
& leg shots for anyone seriously interested. She says these mares & a
gelding are 7 but according to the conversation we're having on the video
3 years ago they'd be 6 so I wonder if she's lost track of time...or
maybe just got it wrong when asked what year they were born then.

7 year old gelding by Wiebaten . Black bay...$400. Brother to Roscos
competition horse I think.

7 (or 6?) year old Sweepstakes mare out of Atir Waldt (Atir had an
excellent AERC record, many fast 50's etc.) by Wiebaten. She's chestnut
with almost flaxen mane, clean legs short back, excellent manners when I
saw her worked in round pen, came in to be haltered, had been kept
trimmed & wormed and raised on large open pastures. Not broke. 14.3  $400

7 (or 6?) year old Sweepstakes mare. Gray. 14.3. Her dam El Leafa had
1485 miles, 5 100's, 4 BC's, did Outlaw Trail with Carol Hicks Gulley (
riding. Sire Wiebaten. Same upbringing as above. $400

11 year old green broke 14.3 gelding. Black bay by Wiebaten. $400 or make
offer.

Possbily sell Roscoe's competition horse LA Habino 11 year old 15 hand
bay. Check his record, did 415 miles. Roscoe had health problems and quit
riding him.
