[RC] Uneven Shoulders and Long Careers - Stagg_Newman

Re discussion on uneven shoulders:

Drubin who competed for 20 consecutive seasons had uneven shoulder development
so uneveness per se does not mean the horse will not have a long career.
Drubin was from Polish racing Arab stock but was never raced.  Suspect I may have
created some of the imbalance when he was young as I am not perfectly
balanced myself and was even less so 20 years ago.

Currently have a 5 year old, Winston, who came w/ high low syndrone.   With
careful work by our farrier, Jeff Pauley, and much more attention to
equitation training, he is becoming much more even and better
balanced although he will never be symmetric.
