Great point. My horse has slept in the Brenderup twice and done just fine. Center divider slides to the side and creats pie-shaped stall with plenty of head room because the trailer is very tall.
At Rose Parade the year it rained, all the horses slept in the slant-load trailers togethers. Body heat got a bit high and fumes a little strong, but the did just fine. In both cases, it was better than the alternative.

Ok, I've read some of the posts on this subject, but I'm not at all clear about the advice because I can't tell what sort of trailer we're talking about. 
 
I understand the slant & movement of the trailer would be factors with any trailer, but if you used an open "stock" type trailer with room for the horse to move around, wouldn't that be ok for an overnight?
