[RC] UAE going strong - Steph TeeterUAE still has 6 riders going strong. 5 are running 1,2,3,4,5 and Sh. Ahmed is moving back up gradually. The first 5 just went out on the course, , lots of serious discussion and then whooping enthusiastically out the gate. almost sounded Western :) Out on loop 5, same 27km course as loop 3, which was described as the toughest. Maria and Jaume are right behind them, as is Kristel van den Abeele, last year's EC winner.I just had lunch at the VIP tent (press sometimes has privileges) - lots of high society, plenty of wine flowing, and very good food! Merri's been taking tons of photos - this is such a high energy event, horses moving in and out constantly, fast and furious crewing, LOTS of water. Access is good, the crewing area is large and central and very spectator friendly.
