He was very sore in his barrel on both side's. I put a liniment on it ( the 
horse version of icy hot) and massaged it in. Now I'm trying to figure out 
what would be causing it? 


A friend of mine was riding a horse in a saddle that was too big for *her* 
butt. She had more room, came down farther back, pumped her legs to get back 
up. She rubbed all the hair off her horse's side with the leg motion. Could 
that be it?
