Re: [RC] Parelli-trained HORSES - Elizabeth Chase

Now I can't resist:

There are NO Parelli-trained horses.

There are only Parelli-trained people. Some students are more adept than
others.

Anyone who advertises a horse as Parelli-trained is incorrect. The horse has
been 'exposed' to Parelli methods, that's all.

The respect issues mentioned seem to evolve because the horse was handled by a
person who had issues with their timing and judgment of any given situation...
and eventually wind up reinforcing the 'disrespect'.... by being on the stick
end of the spectrum or the carrot end of the spectrum.

The most difficult aspect of Parelli study is the mental and emotional fitness,
and I'd estimate that about 75% would be more successful with their horse and
their human relationships if they recognized their own issues and dealt with
them.

One thing you can spot in ANY discipline are the insecure. They always need to
impress upon others that their viewpoint is the only correct one, and spend a
great deal of time and energy 'proving' themselves correct. Then, if someone
remains unconverted, that individual becomes, in the eye of the intransigent
one, morally suspect. This applies across the board of life.
