I use a plain salt block with sulfer added.  It is a whitish yellow color.  
My horses do not go through it as quickly as the red ones (they have hit it 
harder lately).  Someone told me the sulfer will help with flies.  I have 
not had to spray my guys lately.  I wonder if it is the heat or the sulfer 
in the salt block keeping the bugs at bay?

Either way, I was wondering if anyone else uses the sulfur salt blocks?
