[RC] Farm Names - Suzanne Boyd

Very timely subject for me. Just recently bought a 20 acre "farm" (ain't growin' nuthing here but fatter hosses!) I already had some names in mind, but none fit the place. Its kinda like naming a horse. You might have dreamt of calling him "Noble Prince", but if he ends up being "Bubba"(or much worse), whatcha gonna do? So after watching days and days of the excavator dragging up HUGE chunks of limestone(and the $$$$$ adding up with each one), and then The Fence Guy(that's what I call him) telling me, "Girl, you done bought a piece of THE ROCK!!"(and again, watching the $$$$ add up), I finally narrowed it down to several names. I ended up having a vote on the horse racing list I'm on, and the name "Rockland Valley Farm" won. Of course, there were other suggestions, but could I really name my beloved Ohio farm "Buckeyes Suck Forever Farm"??? I didn't think so either. Anyway, I do think "Rockland Valley" has a nice ring to it. I'm pretty proud of this farm, even though I've discovered that most of my neighbors have 200+ acres. I'm sure they think I'm pretty cute with my 20 acres!

Suzanne(All my horses are named Whoa Dammit)
