[RC] cheap Toklat interference boots - tichenor06

I have had my cheap Toklat splint boots since 1990; they are navy.  They have a bit of rust on the metal buckles.    I have had my other cheap Tokalt boots since 1991 they are red.  They have a bit of rust in the same place.  They each have the three velcro straps.  I have another pair somebody gave me.  The are navy, got them back in 1992 (?).  I just finally got a horse they fit.  He is QH and has a longer, bigger cannon than my arabs have.  They have a bit of rust in the buckle also.  I like them all because they are a bit strechy and will conform to the horses leg easier.

I have some very expensive fancy Woof Boots.  They rub *all* my horses.  They are black.  I have the two strap, and the three strap.  They also get lots of dirt in them, and rub even more if the dirt gets in there.  I think there is very uneven pressure on the straps.  No stretchy stuff to conform.  Very nice though.  But not for my type of riding.  I also think they hold more heat than the cheap Toklat interference boots.  Maybe I am wrong on that, but that is my observation on my horses.

The cheap Tokalt are always nice.  I hose off, or brush them off.  Make sure they dry.  They do dry fast.  They are soft, but firm, and protect well.  Yup, I still use them regularly.  Yes, they are still functional.  No they are not hideously ugly either.  Only one has a piece out of it, 'bout the size of a dime.  Horse bit a chunk off.  He had those new boots on 4 times and did that.  I still use them of course.

I would be willing to sell the woof boots if anybody is interested.  They are in excellent condition.  Email for details.  Maybe they will fit somebody else's horse.

No, I am not a dealer of either.
