[RC] re: horse carrying junior at BH 100 - Cindy Collins

Bryla's horse "Charlie" is really Serya Robask.? He was bred by Ann Ayres of Ayres Acres Arabians in Cody, WY.? <http://www.witez.com/2006009.html>??I got two late weanlings from Ann in the '80s.? Charlie sustained a severe wire cut on his front forearm and no one thought he'd be able to do endurance, so we gave him to our dear friend Tom Van Gelder for a future hunting horse.? Charlie, of course, had other plans.? He was a hunting horse, then a great endurance horse with multiple riders.? In 1998 I was "horseless" for the BH and Tom loaned him to me.? It was one of the best 100s I've ever ridden.? I got on him once prior to the ride to mark a little section of the trail.? He is very special to many of us.? Thanks for the kind words about him.? Cindy, a huge fan of "Charlie's"

The junior was Bryla Jones, she is 13 years old.? She was riding ride manager Tom’s horse, Charlie, 22 years young.? Don said the horse was flipping incredible, said he hauled Willy’s butt around those mountains for a good portion of the day.? One of those you wish you could clone J.
