yes, and while one might plead ignorance or inexperience in this area, no one who is riding this sport at most ANY level has the freedom to be ignorant. It is a tough and very dangerous sport - I got out of it about as quickly as I got into it because of this. When one pleads ignorance or inexperience, to me the very next question should be "then WHY are you participating"?
