Re: [RC] RE:RC FEI rules - Truman Prevatt

We'd like to think so but I sure would not bet my ranch on it. At the FEI level the bar has been raised. The course in Spain wasn't a race track and the weather turned it to mud - we got our plow cleaned. The course on France was not a race track and we got our butts kicked. Before the race in Germany - we thought we had a prayer but yet again got our clock cleaned. None of these courses were the Tevis but there weren't race tracks either.

I think the bottom line is a lot of people have brought a lot of money to the sport in the rest of the world. They want to race horses long distances and that is what they are doing. It is a race - period and winning is the only thing that matters They only have three metals to give out so just stop there.

We are only one vote among many.

Definately, if they held the WEC on the Old Dominion
or Tevis Trail, the current class of world level
horses could not hold a candle to us. Its too bad the
WEG can't be on a technical trail.
