It looks like a "done deal." The FEI was talking about this type of finish as far back as 2001 in Vermont. I suspect we will see it for championship races. When this happens endurance at the international level will have absolutely zero in common with AERC endurance.

who these individuals are.

How is a horse/rider team supposed to get an FEI
record, show improvement, and obtain points if they
are not allowed to finish?
