Kathy, I still sweat by Farnam Wipe for the longest
lasting fly spray, and it seems to take longer to sweat off. I carry a small
spray thing of 100% deet, that I got at Wal-Mart. Works well on those nasty
flies around the ears. BUT, some have said they had a horse react to the use of
Deet. I never have.
What section of the Tevis trail is having the worst
horse fly issue?
