Hi, Dave! How is little Minuet doing? Ponying is such a good way to get her used to things, and accept "confinement" of halter and lead rope while moving along! It is a good chance to reach out with your boot and bump here along her sides, pat her on the rump, and even lean on her a bit. All of these things really prepare her for saddleing; One thing I would advise is to get her used to ponying from the LEFT side also. It would be great to get her used to stuff happening on her Right side; the young ones need to "see and feel" you from Both sides. Clinton Anderson would say "you have to train Righty, too." renie
